Mr Jeremy Crane is undoubtedly an excellent surgeon. I write this email as the mother and carer of an adult daughter with complex medical issues and virtually no vascular access. She will be having a transplant soon - I only wish he could be her surgeon. He is the kindest, most caring, thorough and willing medic you'll come across. He is supportive, he listens, he provides solutions, does what he says he'll do and he keeps you informed. If he can't help he refers you to a medic of the same ilk, someone else who cares and you can trust. I tell everyone about him, his kindness, his approach and his manner, which is chatty, easy, positive and informal. If you need a vascular specialist or transplant surgeon he's your man - I will never ever forget him. He has shown us light at the end of the tunnel on more than one occasion.

My dad was abandoned by the NHS as he had several illnesses along with kidney failure, and urgently required dialysis. I was recommended Dr Crane by a Dr DuPont who was dealing with my father on the private sector as I had lost trust with the NHS doctors who didnt have any plans to help my father. Today Dr Crane did the surgery on my father to create a fistula for my father, at the moment it looks stable and I can only hope it works but time will tell as my fathers Artery’s and veins ain’t in good condition due to his diabetics but I just want to say you can not meet a nicer, thorough doctor than Jeremy crane. He did his best for my father and I will forever have nothing but praise for this doctor, brilliant doctor thank you from the Khan family.

I am in my 70s. I developed a small leg ulcer on my Achilles. My GP sent me to see various specialists, one of whom made it significantly worse. The ulcer grew, in nine months, from the size of a £2 coin to an open wound the size of two credit cards. I was in significant pain as the Achilles tendon and the sural nerve were both inflamed. The latest specialist wanted to do a giant skin graft. In desperation I spoke to a medically knowledgeable friend who recommended me to Jeremy. Now, three months later, the wound is all but healed, the pain has gone, and I can walk normally. This is entirely thanks to Jeremy's knowledge and treatment and willingness to work with a problem, not against it. I cannot recommend him strongly enough.

Thank you so much Mr Jeremy Crane!! My AV fistula has finally stopped hurting me. You took the time to hear my thoughts (and frustrations) and have provided me with excellent care. You listened attentively to what the problem was and had arranged various tests and suggestions! I now have a functional fistula and an arm/hand that does not hurt. You and your team are fabulous, I am so grateful, and I applaud you all. Thank you. JP - Aphresis Patient

I was very fortunate to be referred to Mr Crane by an orthopaedic surgeon. I had quite severe swelling of my left foot and leg and walking was difficult and painful. I didn't imagine that a vascular and transplant surgeon of Mr Crane's standing would be very interested in my relatively minor problem. He was wonderful! Very thorough, of course, in his investigations. But also very attentive and caring, sympathetic and friendly, keeping a close watch on my progress over the past 6 months. Today, I walked the 2 miles to my final consultation with him - and then another 2 miles back home. Unthinkable 6 months ago! I have not needed his surgical skills, but on the basis of his approach and my recovery I cannot recommend him highly enough.
